[...] Run 24 hours a day by remote controls by a real person who zooms in on wildlife and put infra-red spotlights on animals at night. I’ve seen giraffes, zebras, antelope (kipsringers), hyenas, giant eagle owls, and what looked like a tapir (but may have been a hyena). Can get boring (because it’s live) but that’s part of the fun. Now for Macs too!read more | digg story Bookmark this article:These icons link to social bookmarking sites where readers can share and discover new web pages. [...]

[...] I’ve been enjoying this live 24 hour webcam of African wildlife. It seems to be maintained by someone who occasionally checks in on it and re-orients it to look at the most interesting stuff, and it has high quality video and sound, as well as night vision.
[...] Here’s a 24 hour webcam focused on the wilderness in Nkorho Pan, Africa. This is really addictive. I leave it on in the background and just listen to the, sometimes overwhelming, sounds of the birds, etc. When I notice some movement I stop typing my little love letters to my Fun-Sexy Kittens and check out the gang of mischievous monkeys wondering by or a leopard stalking. One of the coolest webcams I’ve found. They even leave it on, with night vision enabled, during the night. [africam] [...]
