UPDATE: Call off the digital hounds, it was a bug and not a feature change. For some reason, Digg didn’t digg my own story when I submitted it. Then, for a period of 10 minutes, I showed up under the list of people who had dugg that story, but my count icon wouldn’t reflect it, nor could I fix the situation by clicking the Digg button. The system has sorted out the situation. Sorry for the alarmist, incorrect post. Please do not Digg.

Of course it’s well known news by now that Digg has removed their Top Users page, but did they make other undocumented changes to the site as well? Specifically, what happened to the ‘My #1′ feature, where users could highlight their favorite story for a spell? It looks as though previously selected #1 still exists, but, moving forward, it cannot be assigned to newly posted stories.
