Not only is it a Rob Lowe movie, it’s also an interesting article that Wired has run about the youthful effects of fresh blood.
The scientists linked the blood supply of young mice to old mice, and what they found will have an impact on stem-cell research as well as the scientific study of aging: The young blood activated stem cells in the old muscles that allowed them to recover from injury like a spring chicken.
That seems to fit right in with Ray Kurzweil’s prediction that we’re only 20 years away from immortality. Hey, the man made a mean synthesizer…..why not……?

Now, I’ve played around with Firefox in the past, but I’ve never been as desperate as my Internet Explorer lovin’ counterparts to make the immediate switch. I’ve been mostly pleased with the work that Apple has done on Safari. However, after reading Wired’s recent article on the Firefox browser, I’d thought I’d give it another try. Unfortunately, neither Firefox nor Apple has made it easy to import/export your bookmarks between the two. Fortunately, a commenter on the mozillaZine forums has given us the How-To. I’ve copied the instructions for your viewing pleasure.

Of course, I’d love to take credit for the changes that I’m making to this site, but in reality, I have this website to thank. They have a wealth of Movable Type introductions and tutorials.

As my first experiment for MT, I’ve tried to incorporate my .Mac photos page into this site. It’s kind of a hack, but it appears to work fairly well.
I used an Open Source PHP HTML parser to parse the menu from my .Mac homepage. I then used a little PHP hackery to reassemble the links into page that could be included into the side menu.
